How to Set Up Maxvify with IBO Player

IBO Player is the only app Maxvify officially supports. The same activation flow works on every device — Smart TV, Firestick, Android Box, MAG, iPhone and iPad. Total setup time: under 10 minutes.

What you need before starting

  • A device that runs IBO Player (Smart TV, Firestick, Android TV Box, MAG, iPhone, iPad, or PC)
  • A stable internet connection — at least 20 Mbps for HD, 35 Mbps wired for 4K
  • Your Maxvify order confirmation (or trial credentials received via WhatsApp)
  • About 10 minutes — no technical skills required

Step-by-Step IBO Player Activation

Install IBO Player

Open your device's app store and search "IBO Player". Install it for free. On Firestick, use the Downloader app with code 566846.

Copy MAC & Device Key

Launch IBO Player. The welcome screen shows your MAC Address (e.g. 00:1A:79:AB:CD:EF) and a Device Key. Note both — you need them to activate.

Send to Maxvify

WhatsApp us at +1 514 447 7860 or paste the values in the order form. Our team links your playlist to your device.

Wait for Confirmation

Activation typically takes 15–30 minutes. During Canadian business hours (9 AM–11 PM EST) it's often under 5 minutes. You'll receive a WhatsApp or email confirmation.

Restart IBO Player

Force-close the app (swipe up on iOS, back-press on Android) and reopen. Your full Maxvify library — live TV, VOD, series, catchup — loads automatically.

Enable EPG (Optional)

Inside IBO Player Settings, toggle EPG on. The 7-day electronic program guide for all Canadian and international channels populates within 60 seconds.

Device-Specific Tips

Android TV Box

Find IBO Player on the Google Play Store. On Formuler Z11 and similar boxes, it's available in the bundled marketplace. Enable "Unknown Sources" if needed.

Amazon Firestick

Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → enable Apps from Unknown Sources. Then install the Downloader app and enter code 566846.

Samsung & LG Smart TV

Search "IBO Player" in your TV's app store. If not visible, change your TV's region to Canada or USA in TV Settings, sign out, then sign back in.

iPhone & iPad (iOS)

Download "IBO Pro Player" from the Apple App Store — a one-time $5.99 USD purchase required by Apple. Activation steps are identical to all other devices.

MAG Decoder

MAG users do not need IBO Player. Simply send us your MAG box's MAC address and we configure the portal URL directly. You'll be live in minutes.

Windows & Mac

Install BlueStacks or Android Studio's emulator and side-load IBO Player APK. Alternatively, request an M3U link from our team and use VLC media player.

Common Troubleshooting

IBO Player says "No connection" after activation
Restart your router, force-quit IBO Player, and reopen it. If the issue continues, disable any VPN — Maxvify uses geo-optimized Canadian edge servers that VPNs can block. If still unresolved, contact our support team via WhatsApp.
Channels load but buffer frequently
Switch from Wi-Fi to a wired Ethernet connection. Inside IBO Player Settings, set buffer cache to "Large" and player engine to "Native". These two changes resolve 95% of buffering complaints. Make sure your internet speed is at least 20 Mbps for HD or 35 Mbps for 4K.
The EPG (program guide) is empty
Wait 60 seconds after opening IBO Player — the EPG loads in the background. If still empty after 2 minutes, go to IBO Player Settings → EPG and tap "Reload EPG". Force-restart the app afterward.
How do I move my subscription to a new device?
Each Maxvify plan allows one free MAC address swap per quarter. Send your old and new MAC addresses to our team via WhatsApp and we'll re-pair your subscription within 5 minutes at no charge.
